There are two types of stress, bad stress or ‘distress’ which is what we most commonly mean when we refer to ‘stress’ and good, beneficial stress, known as ‘eustress’. 

 

While most of us talk about that negative feeling of ‘stress’ the main alarm is the rise of cortisol and epinephrine (adrenaline). While we’re all running around in panic mode from our everyday worries, chronic stress is disrupting the natural balance required for optimal health, speeding up the ageing process, and increasing the body’s susceptibility to illness. Finding ways to activate the relaxation response is vital.

 

Through my health coaching services, I can help you manage stress effectively and lead a calmer life. We will explore your daily habits that could be keeping you stuck in the stress cycle, helping you to change your perspective, thoughts and behaviours surrounding stress. We will work on building and maintaining a more positive thought pattern, routine and lifestyle that allows you to live a more stress-free life.
